Spamknobs. Never answer numbers that start 03 Scam suspicion

Block this number I had several calls from it today and yesterday.

I had the same thing yesterday evening saying it was Three. I have now blocked the number as he sounded suspicious.

Some twat testing my patience, 1 more call and I'm cancelling my contracts. Three can lick my shoes for all I care.

Claimed to be Three so I just hung up. They have since called me every day for the past week.

This number has called my mobile three times today , when I block the number it just goes up one digit, I will not answer a number I don't recognise, there are so many scams I'm afraid to ,

They keep calling from different extensions so I can't block them... haven't picked up yet because they annoyed me when they woke me up.

They claim to be Three. I told them I was busy and hung up.

Keep being called by this number but I don't pick it up as I don't recognise it.

It was someone claiming to be from Three. I constantly block these numbers and the next day it's yet another number calling for the same reason. Beyond annoying.

I think it's 3 if you ring back you get a automated 3 message with option too remove your number from there list

Looks like 3 are on the marketing trail again. I only changed over to them 6 months ago and seem to get calls every 3-4 weeks for a few days, until I block them. Another number blocked. If I want something I'll ask!!!

I wouldn’t trust posts saying that it is the three marketing team. I’ve had numerous calls from different variations of this number, all ending in a slightly different 4 numbers asking me if I want to upgrade or they have a deal waiting for me as a long term customer I have been with them for 8 years now but on a sim only plan so I shouldn’t be eligible for any upgrades. I just block every number that they call me on. Might be a scam, might not.

Call continuously and at all various times, once at half past midnight so wouldn't rely on posts claiming its legit from 3, change last numbers when they have been blocked.

Three mobile calling about offers and deals. If you call the number back you get an automated message which gives you the option to have your number removed from their list. Worth doing as only takes 20 seconds

3 mobile network...but that call smells a little bit...keep asking you a questions and want to heard from you "Yes". If you take the call just answer them only with OK or NO.

Three sales team, I really wouldn't mind, but I've already removed a different three sales team number from calling me and now this other number is calling me which is also a three sales team which I've gone to remove my number from, the next time they call on a different number I'm going to talk to them and tell them to remove me in person, they've also been calling my other phone as it's most likely linked to my three account and that's on EE it's getting to the point of harassment now and it's really annoying.

This number just called. I do not answer the phone nowadays as I am feeling harassed by unwanted callers. If somebody leaves a message and I know who it is I know where I am. I get this number calling me at home and on my iPhone. I do not call back and there is no message. Once I got a far east female voice where there was still no message, just somebody calling me by name in the answerphone.

Just 3 marketing calls. If you phone the number back it gives you the option to opt out of receiving these calls. (Only takes 30 seconds to opt out)

A foreign voice barely understandable who couldn't even get my name right, they apologised and rang off.they keep changing a digit on their phone number if you keep ignoring previous number!!

This number has been used to call me more than twenty times, at all hours of the day, and all days of the week. The callers have never left a voicemail message to identify themselves, or to simply leave a brief friendly message stating the purpose of their call, e.g. a special offer, or a legitimate attempt to sell me an add-on.

Calling loads of times during the day. Up until 10pm. I don’t need this when I’m trying to get my child to sleep -.-

Its is Three Mobile. I have 4 devices with Three and altered my contracts twice using the xxx xxx 1017 abd xxxx xxx 1014 number. Why people are claiming they have called three to be told its not their number i don't understand because it is one of their numbers. Also i can't speak for all representatives but they have alwas been friendly and non pushy with me. As someone said previously, these sites are only useful if the information is accurate.

Just had a call from this number. "hello is this 'my name'" "yes this is police inspector 'my name'" (I thought I would have a laugh) "hello this is 'unpronounceable name' from three marketing team" "oh are you now?" "sorry to bother you good bye" hangs up phone. Obviously a Scammer who realised I knew he was a bull shit Scammer.

They said they were Three. They wanted to talk to my son but called on my landline no. which I have registered with TPS. This may not be a scam but it does appear to be in breach of the rules on non-solicited calls.

I know it's three because me and my family all have a number with three and they sometimes call us for offers or deals or sometimes my dad has inquired about something so they call his account which has all 3 of our numbers attached so yeh. ITS NOT DANGEROUS STOP CALLING IT DANGEROUS

Pretty sure this is legit Three; they were able to validate me via postcode. They are also currently offering £2/month cheaper unlimited calls/data/texts than you'll find online - so don't be too hasty getting rid of them (just saved myself £24 on a yearly contract)...

I wish people would stop claiming its a scam when clearly it is not. Do some research, it is definitely Three mobile. These sites are very useful but only if people spread valid information.

Weird how the majority of these comments say 0333331017 was a scam. I checked here then call Three to verify the number, they confirmed that it was indeed one of their numbers. It is however the first time I've seem this number from them, that's what made me hang up. Marking as SAFE, still annoying though.

Also have had daily calls from this number or should i say numbers as they are using progressive numbers where the last digit changes regularly, it appears to count up by 1 each time they call. Maybe report them to the fraud squad @ actionfraud.police.uk if you think you have been scammed or they are attempting to scam you.

Quite obviously a scam. Asked for date of birth and postcode, entered in fakes and of course it passed me through to an "advisor" no problem. Claimed he was from Three, but I doubt it as I already have 2 contracts with them and can't take out any others.

In the support team members own words, while they do have a number starting with 0333 33, they still suggested to err on the side of caution, as it could be spam.

Had 2 calls today from 03333381016..17. Didn't get to phone in time to answer. Only 3 rings each time. Left no voicemails. It could be 3mobile telemarketing...but I rather think it's scammers who have got hold of customer details illegally (prob from employees at 3mobile Indian call centres) and are trying to now scam money. Why do I think this? Well, they called me not on my phone that I have a Three contract on...but on another phone whose number I only gave to 3mobile once, 3 months ago, as a temporary contact number. NEVER give your bank or card details to a stranger who calls you on your phone...no matter how genuine they seem.
