Lloyds Bank (local branch) telling me someone had handed my bank card in to them . Genuine call - I had dropped my card outside my local shop. Other
I thick it was sound like midlands with a country sound english expression that could not be understood. Defo: xenophophic comment, actually hidden racial
I have rung Lloyds and this is a scam. They say they never make these sorts of calls. I think the comments saying this is not a scam is part of the scam. I would advise to ring Lloyds on a recognised number and not the one the scammers have told you.
SCAM! Called saying he was from Lloyd’s bank, calling about Mortgage advise and would like to make an appointment. Could have sounded legit, gave his name and town in which I live (but do not bank there). Have been warned of scams like this by Lloyd’s. Lloyd’s have told me they would never cold call in this way. Be very wary.

Lloyd’s have told me they would never cold call in this way. Be very wary. Makes me so angry... low lifes!!
i was called from this number and a voicemail message was left relating to a planned meeting at my local branch. Definitely a genuine call as I recognised the voice of the lady I had arranged to meet. She did also leave her mobile number for me to call as it's easier to get straight through than have to go through the national call centre. I realise some people of dubious character can scam people using cloned numbers, but for me this was a genuine call.
Lloyd’s Bank. I had an appointment with them this morning and the personal banker was running late, they called on this number to let me know.
Genuine Lloyds Bank number. BUT foreign criminals are spoofing it. Rule is - don't give ANY information to a cold caller. If someone calls saying they from your bank, assume it is a con BUT it could be for real and there could be a problem with your account.. Call your bank back asap using the number on your paperwork but only after you check to make sure your phone line has cleared. Scam attempts should be reported to 'www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing'. Questions: how do these foreign crooks get hold of these UK numbers to make untraceable calls from anywhere? what can we do to stop them? should our parliament force phone companies to stop these UK landline numbers from being spoofed? should we barrage our MPs with these questions?
I had a call from an 08000150050 on my landline claiming they were from Lloyds bank spoke to my daughter. I also had a missed call from this number also on my Mobile. They left me a voice message, saying that they were from Lloyds bank as she was the manager from my local Lloyds bank could I please get back to her on 07384828798. Said not to worry, but my call back would help with customer service. I was very suspicious with this being a mobile number. I phoned Lloyds bank on there number that begins with 0345 and I spoke to the fraud team. They told me it was a scam as they would never get a customer to phone them back using a mobile number.
Came up on my mobile with Potential Fraud warning and big Crossed Red Circle warning - did not dare answer
Definitely not Lloyds! Check the reviews here that claim it's legitimate, they all look the same. I just got call and am 100% certain by the way the person conducted themselves that it is not legitimate. If your bank wanted to contact, they'll send a letter. Never agree to appointments or give your details over the phone!
It is safe, as my mortgage advisor contacted me on this number earlier this morning and i have met the lady numerous time's in person 100% lloyds.
Its a genuine number but I still wouldnt answer anyone whos ringing you out the blue about your banking details
Lloyds Bank Winchester. Left message on my answer phone. Lloyds have no knowledge. Don't trust.
Only rang once didn't know who it was no message was left. Called on mobile.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM THE TOOK ALL MONEY FROM MY PIGGY BANK NOW I HAVE PISS COMING OUT OF MY ASS
Lady called asking for my daughter and she hung up when I said she wasn’t here. Checked this site,so was bit suspicious. Rang Lloyd’s bank and they verified that this IS NOT a Lloyd’s bank phone number.
I was waiting for a call from Lloyds bank. This number called but there was no reply. whoever set this system up from Lloyds bank did not have a very good training as it will not work with call guardian. As normal with banks inferior it systems. could well be open to hacking.
Lloyds Complaints Department - answered due to entries here and they were able to confirm security questions before I gae them my details.
For us this number turned out to be someone we know at our local Lloyds branch ringing us so we didn't have a problem with it. I can only assume that all their branches ring out through a central number.
This number called me asking for a name that doesn't live here and I don't bank with Lloyds. So call a genuine Lloyds number and they told me this 08000150050 is a lloyds number. Thought it was fishy but obviously not.
Called my home telephone but left no message. Do not call as possibly a scam and dangerous.
Don't trust this number. I answered the call by my company name when they called in. They said nothing and hung up straight away - clearly trying to scam individuals and didn't think they'd get away with it with another financial company. Also - be wary of any POSITIVE reviews on these kind of websites... if you were satisfied with a service, why would you leave a review on a "who is calling me" website? You'd leave it on THEIR website, wouldn't you?
I was called by this number this morning. The caller left a message - it was a member of Lloyds bank contacting me about a meeting I was due to have with her this afternoon. She left her mobile number for me which matched the one on her business card which she gave me last time I saw her.
They called in to the office where I am the receptionist, they did not say anything and they hung up as soon as I said the name of the company.
Called specifically asking for my wife, when told she was at work, responded rather quickly saying they would "try her mobile" and it was "her bank". Did 1471 and got this number, redialled it to get an automated message claiming someone from my Local branch had tried to call and would try again later. I have since spoken to Lloyds and they can confirm that this number IS NOT on their system as being one of theirs and have passed it on to their fraud team.
My local Lloyds bank branch called to advise they had found my credit card - called into the branch and picked it up.
They claimed to be from bank but i did not believe them. I rang my bank (Lloyds) and reported this, giving them the phone number got from 1471 (which I did not call back) and they say they will report the number to their fraud dept. Definitely a scam.
This number called me today, my wife answered as I was out, the caller asked for me by name, my wife asked the caller who he was so she could pass on a message, the caller said, oh! I will catch him later and then hung up
Called landline twice on 28 June 2017. No voicemail left. Got No. from 1471. Returned call only to receive a voicemail stating its a call from my local Lloyds Branch and that they will call again. I am waiting for this call again (IF it comes) and hope to play the caller for what it is worth. Will also let the Police know but not sure they will be willing to do much though they have the number. Perhaps they could establish WHO has issued this number to whom and take it from there. My partner is in the early stages of alzheimers and so is likely to divulge information despite my warnings to avoid doing so. Please, someone, please do something about these scammers
Man called our ex-directory landline, claiming to be from our local branch of Lloyds Bank, asking to speak to me ( giving my full name!!). Husband told him that i was out but would be back in 5 minutes. He said he would call back and speak to me in 10 minutes ( this should have been at 16.00 today). Now 16.30 and no call back. Presume this is a scam - but how the hell do they get phone number, name of bank and name of person ????

Call received on answer phone. Claimed to be investment manger from my branch in Redditch asking if there was any help they could provide and asking to ring him on a mobile number if I wished. Bank not specified. Be on your guard.
