I keep getting calls from this number, usually in the morning, when I answer they hang up. Never does anybody speak to me just seilence.
very limited group of friends have my number. very rarely given to banks etc but that is it. glad to be able to block these spammers

Called pretending to be Sky saying my 1 years warranty was now out of date I sed I an the CEO of Sky and also on the board of directors for Domestic & General insurance. For some reason they hung up.... ?
They have called a few times but always ignore them as it is obviously a scam call.

Called my mobile AND my landline today claiming to be acting on behalf sky. They said the warranty was up on my sky box shortly and were offering cover called "Sky Protect Plus". Complete rubbish. Con artists. just don't answer a call from these people.

It's just D&G trying to flog the Sky protect insurance on their behalf. I've just had a couple missed calls off them which makes sense given i'm coming to the end of my 12 month contract meaning my box is out of warranty. Just tell them you're not interested, simple!
This firm rings several times a week. Firstly the mobile, and when you answer you can hear obviously a call centre. They say nothing then hang up. They then ring the landline and by the time you get to it to answer they hang up again. What is the point are they being serious!!!
Another number linked to SKY i have told SKY i am leaving them and now getting loads of calls linked to them another one to block.
Called up pretending to be Sky, asking for details and saying Manufacturer warranty needed to be renewed. I have never heard of this service, and certainly will not be paying £9.99 a month for it.
Called claiming to be Sky offering an upgrade asking for me, I don't have Sky so clearly fraudulent. Then left heavy breathing message on answer machine. Sick pervert scum.
got a call from the number 08004790758,let it ring and calledit back and a guy said who they were(D+G) on behalf of sky and if i did not want to receive anymore calls from D+G to ring 08004584613 and Sky would take me off their list,i rang and guess what!it was the same guys voice from the other number! So they are lying!! Nothing to do with sky!!
Their land line number is 0208 946 7777-------------ask for cust.services and ask them to take you off their list and threaten to report them to the police for harassment.
Would I like insurance for all electric items I have possibly ever owned from Domestic & General? No I would not. So stop calling me.
This is definitely insurance call - even Domestic and General insurance calling in the name of SKY or SKY directly with Insurance offers for their equipment. Prolonging the old contract or offering new one...
might have been domestic and general but I never do any business with cold callers. Sky needs to remember that and WRITE to me.
